Candlelight Reveals Authentic Range of Faux Plants

Debbie Isles, Sales Director at Candlelight, looks at the latest trend in faux plants and flowers.
“There’s no getting away from the fact that we are welcoming mother nature into our homes more than ever, especially when it comes to our love affair with houseplants. Driven by those gorgeously green social media snaps, showing homes decked out with wonderful blooms, sales of flowers and potted plants are on the increase.
House plants are one of the biggest trends in interiors in recent years but with natural plants, there is a maintenance factor to consider. Watering, feeding, cutting, re-potting, misting, cleaning, they do require a lot of care, even the most hardy ones!
However, the reality of our busy lives and the fact that our homes may be too dark, too light, or too warm to comfortably grow a plant, add to the reasons why buyers are increasingly opting for authentic looking faux plants.
No longer the plastic-looking, shiny things they once were, faux house plants are an easy way to add interest and colour to any room. Authentic-looking florals are very much ‘on trend’ – with our new Flower Patch range, including a selection of vibrant, beautifully-potted orchids that will enhance any sideboard, window bottom or table. To add to this, we have released individual sprays of roses, ranunculus, carnations, hydrangea, large daisies, roses, peony and lavender, plus other foliage, which is decorative and lifelike. These are ideal for display in baskets, vases, jars and window boxes, with a myriad of options available. The range also includes natural-looking succulents and cacti, including an Aloe Vera plant, cheese plant and an array of attractive pots in terracotta, ceramic, metallic and hand painted designs.
We are offering a great range of authentic-looking plants and flowers to bring life and colour into any home. These are sure to create interest and desire when stocked and will stimulate delight when presented as gifts for mums, friends and for anniversaries as well as for those moving into new homes. Enjoy!
